Questions and answers about the Clever Thermal Energy Meter
In this section you will find important questions and answers about the Clever Thermal Energy Metering System. If you have further questions, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help!

The service company (DZiB or DZiKS) will receive this data from us. The data from Clever will be included in a separate paragraph on the payment invoice for the apartment. You will receive the invoice as before, in your mailbox or by email.

Yes, it is possible, but there are complications: 1) expensive costs (bank loans); 2) repairs have to be carried out simultaneously in all apartments of the house; 3) repairs in each apartment (old risers have to be removed and new horizontal pipes have to be installed).

The renovation of the house does not include a vertical heating system (as installed in your house) for the distribution of heat energy. Residents who received more heat in their apartment before the renovation will receive more heat after the renovation.

Yes, if the house has made a positive decision to install.

No. Everyone will pay for themselves. Any individual meter (e.g. water meter, electricity meter, etc.) allows you to pay only for what you consume. If your flat is hot and you do not "close" the radiators and open the windows, you will pay for this, but not your neighbours who close the radiators. That's fair.

The calculation methodology (rules) shall be adopted by the apartment owners at the time the survey is organised. In brief: a) subtract the amount of heat energy consumed by the house in the common areas (e.g. 15%) from the total meter reading of the house and distribute to EACH apartment in proportion to the area (by square metres); b) then subtract the reading of all Clever-connected apartments; c) distribute the remaining amount to the non-connected apartments (by square metres).

The heating energy consumed in the common areas is paid for by all residents in proportion to the size of their apartment. This will be reflected in a separate paragraph on the payment invoice for the apartment.

It is your choice whether or not to connect Clever. In case Clever has been installed and you wish to withdraw from this service, it is possible to terminate the contractual obligations. The procedure for termination is mentioned in the contract.

The savings come from being able to adjust and switch radiators when you don't need them, for example: when it's hot in the house, when you leave the house, when you go on holiday, when it gets warmer outside, because the heat can't be transferred, etc. This way, you will be charged for the heat actually consumed. The same advantages apply to the occupants of apartments in new houses.

No, it is not compulsory. One apartment is enough. The others can connect at any time.

Contact us and we will calculate the cost of installing Clever in your apartment.

To install Clever in your house and start calculating the heat energy consumed, according to the parameters of each apartment, you need the consent of the majority of the apartment owners in your house (50% + 1 vote). Moreover, it is not obligatory to organise a general meeting, the law allows you to conduct a survey (see the Apartment Property Law).
