The Clever Installation Process and Survey Procedure

According to the Law on Apartment Ownership, in order to install Clever, apartment owners must make a decision either at an apartment owners' meeting or by conducting a survey of them. To make a decision about installing Clever in in the apartments of your building, it is enough for 50% +1 of apartment owners to vote "yes."

To conduct a survey of apartment owners in your building, you need to contact our specialist, who will provide you with detailed instructions on how to conduct the survey, as well as answer any questions you may have.

Survey procedure:

  • Our specialist instructions.
  • Ballot collection.
  • Apartment owners' decision protocol on the installation of Clever.
Applicant's submission to the managing company on the decision made by the apartment owners of the building to install Clever and the adoption of the new method of calculating heat energy consumption.

The survey form cannot be edited without the coordination of a Clever employee.

An individual survey form is required for each vote.

Only an apartment owner or an authorized person is authorized to sign the survey form.

The signer of the survey form must legibly write their full name and surname, without abbreviations.

A majority of votes must be collected - that is 50% +2 votes (1 reserve).

The verification of the person's name and surname takes place on the website of the Land Registry: https://www.zemesgramata.lv

After collecting the required number of votes, the survey initiator checks, prepares and submits the protocol to the service company.

After submitting the documents, an official response from the service company is awaited.

Important to know

To install Clever in your apartment, you need to have:
Wireless internet (Wi-Fi)
Radiators must have a bypass
Radiators can be any size or model, but they must be equipped with thermostats or taps (valves) that shut off the heat

Sign an individual contract

Once the apartment owners of the building have made a decision, you can sign an individual Clever installation contract for your apartment. You must coordinate this with Clever in advance.

Payment

After you have coordinated and signed the individual Clever installation contract, payment must be made either in one payment or in installments. If the contract provides for payment in installments, the project and equipment installation will be carried out after the first payment is made. More detailed information about payments and their deadlines is specified in the contract

Installation of equipment

After the equipment is installed, the Clever equipment acceptance and transfer act is signed.
